Gemba Buddy
The product

Built for the shopfloor. Not for the IT department.

Gemba Buddy is a light, intuitive way to run production. Built for the leaders who want to work effectively, not to spend half a year rolling out a system. Less paper, less guessing, less frustration.

Team reading efficiency and FTE figures off a Gemba Buddy board
The name

Gemba is where the work happens. A buddy is someone who helps.

In lean management, gemba means the place where value is actually created: the hall, the line, the workstation. Buddy is a mate who supports instead of getting in the way. That is the whole design brief.

It is not an ERP and not a corporate machine. It is a system you can set up yourself and use the day after you decide.

Set up by you, not by a consultant Runs on the phones your people already carry Priced for a factory, not for a corporation

Fit

Who runs it, and what they get out of it

Who it is for

Shift leaders and team leaders Production managers Lean engineers and specialists Operations directors Owners of manufacturing companies

What it changes

Paper documentation disappears Production data is one tap away One readable board for shift and results Problems get a reaction in real time Operators take part in improvements

Why it exists

Designed by practitioners for practitioners. We do not offer a thousand features nobody uses. We focus on what helps: readable information, mobility, simplicity.

This came out of the production hall, not a conference room.

Six modules

The whole shopfloor routine, module by module

Desktop and phone, same data. Open a module to see what it does.

Book output and labour per hour at the workcenter. Target against actual, the gap with a reason code, and the running shift total. The board every stand-up already talks about, without the marker pen.

Before and after

The same shift, two ways of running it

Data arrives next day Sheets are collected after the shift and retyped into a spreadsheet in the morning.
Reaction to a stop whoever shouts Nobody can say later how long the line stood or who was called.
Improvement ideas on a wall Written on a card, pinned to a board, and quietly forgotten.
Free 30-day trial

Try it on one line for a month. Then decide.

Setup takes a day: upload your users, workcenters and routings, and the afternoon shift is already reporting in the app. No IT project, no integration work, no card.
