Gemba Buddy
Flexibility

Every plant is different. Buddy gets it.

Two things decide whether a shopfloor tool ever gets used: whether it matches how this plant actually works, and whether it lives with the systems already in the building. Gemba Buddy answers both by configuration, in days.

Set up to your process, not to a template
Reads from and writes back to your ERP or MES
Starts working before the integration exists
Set to your plant Setup, not development

Workcentersyour codes, your names

Everything above is configuration. The shopfloor logic underneath stays the same, which is why this takes days.
Configured, not developed

Eight things we set to your plant

None of it is programming. That is the whole reason a new branch of industry is a matter of days: we set the app to your work, we do not build a new app.

01 Workcenters and lines The hall as it really is: cells, lines, machines, and the codes your people say out loud.
02 Routings and standards Cycle times, hourly targets and the standard for each article you run.
03 Reason codes Your list of stops and losses. A generic list is the fastest way to lose the data.
04 Shift calendar Shift patterns, breaks and planned stops, so the hour grid matches the way you count.
05 Roles and rights Operator, shift leader, engineer, maintenance, management. Who books and who only reads.
06 Units and naming pcs, kg, m, pallets. Articles and orders named exactly as they are named in your system.
07 KPIs on the board Which numbers the wall shows, and what counts as below target in your plant.
08 Interface language English, German, Polish. The floor reads the app in the language it works in.
Where it comes from

Out of automotive, not limited to it

Gemba Buddy was built in automotive plants, where takt, standards and escalation are held to the strictest discipline anywhere in manufacturing. That is a demanding place to start, and it left the app with a habit: every screen has to survive a real shift.

Underneath, the loop is not automotive at all. An hour, a target, an actual, a reason for the gap. Wherever production repeats, that loop is the same, which is why fitting the app to another product is setup work rather than a new project.

The shopfloor logic is not reinvented for each customer. That is exactly why the part that is yours can be ready in days.

Integration

It connects to what you already run

ERP, MES, a scheduling system, a warehouse system. If it can share data, we take the data and give it back. Nobody retypes anything twice.

What comes in
Production orders and quantities
Articles, routings, cycle times, standards
Workcenters, people, shift calendar
What goes back
Output booked hour by hour
Downtime with the reason attached
Andon events, reaction times, labour hours
How the data travels
Your system has an interface We read and write through it on a schedule you set. Nothing else changes on your side, and your IT keeps the interface it already maintains.
You do not need the integration to start Gemba Buddy runs on its own data from the first shift. The link to your ERP is an upgrade you add when your IT has time, not a condition you wait for. Production does not stand still for an IT project, and neither should the board on the wall.
Free 30-day trial

Try it on one line for a month. Then decide.

Setup takes a day: upload your users, workcenters and routings, and the afternoon shift is already reporting in the app. No IT project, no integration work, no card.
